A graduate of Duke University School of Law, Ken Craycraft has been practicing law since 2001, after a career as a university professor. He has a broad range of experience in business/commercial law and civil litigation. Prior to establishing Craycraft Law Firm, LLC, most of Ken’s career has been spent at large national and international law firms. He is admitted to practice in Ohio, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Ohio, and the Northern District of Illinois. In addition to these courts, Ken has practiced in state and federal courts in California, Texas, Nevada, Louisiana, New York, Hawaii, Missouri, Oklahoma, Washington, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and Indiana. In Ohio, Ken has practiced in Hamilton, Clermont, Warren, and Clinton Counties, before both trial and appellate courts.

Ken’s current practice involves civil litigation, commercial real estate transactions, small business advising, and domestic relations law. He is committed to civility and collegiality in civil litigation, keeping in mind that few people want to sue or be sued, but that some disputes cannot be otherwise avoided.

Prior to his law career, Ken was a university professor, teaching moral theology at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He holds a Ph.D. in Theology from Boston College, as well as master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Christian University. In addition to dozens of articles and reviews in such publications as Crisis, First Things, Review of Politics, Theology Today, and the Journal of Law and Religion, he is the author of The American Myth of Religious Freedom (Spence 1999).  Ken is currently an adjunct professor at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, the seminary for the Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati, teaching courses in moral theology.

Ken and his wife, Sue, live in Milford. They are the parents of nine children, and active in their parish, St. Andrew the Apostle, in Milford. Ken is an avid cyclist, logging many miles around southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky. He enjoys reading, especially 20th century Catholic fiction.
